Grooming policies

Pawfect Pets at Paws on Cook — independent grooming by Flora. Please read before requesting:

• One-on-one grooming — Flora works on one dog at a time. Please drop off and pick up on time; we do not offer daycare.
• Special needs dogs — Dogs who are not dog-friendly, have serious health issues, or cannot be safely groomed online must be booked by email first. Email pawfectflora@gmail.com before requesting.
• Not accepted online — Sedated dogs without prior groomer consent; dogs with a history of biting humans.
• Scheduled dog only — Only the dog listed on the appointment may attend. Bringing a different dog may result in a missed-appointment fee.
• Check-in — Dogs must arrive dry (no swimming before grooming), with a chance to relieve themselves. Wet coats may be refused. Flora checks for matting at check-in.
• Parasites — Dogs with fleas or lice cannot be groomed; immediate pickup and fees may apply.
• Cancellation — 48+ hours notice to cancel or reschedule. 24–48 hours: 50% of groom cost due before next visit. Under 24 hours or no-show: 100% of missed service due before next booking.
• Late arrival — 15+ minutes late may require rescheduling with a missed-appointment fee.
• Pick-up — Please pick up within 15 minutes of your ready text or estimated time. Late pick-up fees may apply after a grace period.
• Matted coats — We do not dematt. Severely matted coats are shaved for safety; a waiver may be required. Matted groom pricing varies by severity.
• Muzzles — Used if needed for safety at the groomer's discretion.
• Accurate booking — Book the correct weight range and service. Incorrect bookings may be refused with cancellation fees.
• Feedback — Grooming concerns? Contact Flora within 48 hours of pickup.
